Stephen Alan Fletcher Pownall was born on 30 December 1986 in West London, Britain. He was born to his father, Orlando Pownall who is a Lawyer. His father is a popular Lawyer in 2 Hare court. His dad, Orlando became a popular figure after representing the child sex allegation of the Premiere League Footballer, Adam Johnson. Alan’s mother, Catherine is a housemaker.
Alan grew up in Richmond, Thames and attended Windlesham House school based in Sussex. Later, he attended Marlborough college and Shiplake College. During college days, he worked for a French designer, Roland Mouret. After seeing his creativity, the french designer suggested him to study fashion in Milan, Italy.
